Organization

The association currently has 48 members and calls on associate partners to contribute their expertise in particular areas.

It is a space for discussion and cooperation, and as such, the mobile contactless services Forum includes all of the players in its debates. These include mobile network operators, banks and financial institutions, retailers, public transportation companies, local authorities, Government bodies in France and in Europe as well as different representatives of consumer associations and service providers.

The main aim of the Forum is to encourage the development of synergies between the players, and provide the necessary foundations for the rapid emergence of contactless mobile services.

Organization

The Executive Committee :

The President (Jean-Michel Gadrat), two Vice-Presidents, (Luigi Panone and Jean-Claude Deturche), the Treasurer (Patrice Hertzog) and the Secretary-General (Brigitte Bourgoin). The Executive Committee is elected by the Board of Directors to manage the association and coordinate its activities.

The Board of Directors :

There are 5 members of the Executive Committee and 12 other members, who all come together for meetings two or three times per year.

The Steering Committee:

The 5 members of the Executive Committee and 6 members selected by the Board of Directors, plus the Forum Manager, in all 12 people. The Steering Committee follows the Forum’s activities on a monthly basis.

The workgroups :

They deal with the practical problems relating to the deployment of NFC services. They are open to partners who wish to contribute by providing intellectual or technical support to the association to encourage development of contactless mobile services.

The permanent team :

It consists of three people, who ensure daily management and handle the activities organized by the association.
