Supporting and promoting NFC contactless mobile services
A dedicated space for discussion and cooperation
The mobile contactless services Forum was created on October 10th, 2008. It is a non-profit association whose aim is to offer support and help promote NFC contactless mobile services. The Forum’s role is to coordinate and gather together views put forward by players involved in dealing with the economic, technical and regulatory aspects of the industry. The aim is to encourage the rapid development of contactless mobile services in France.
The association currently has 48 members and calls on associate partners to contribute their expertise in particular areas. It is a space for discussion and cooperation, and as such the mobile contactless services Forum includes all players in its debates: mobile network operators, banks and financial institutions, retailers, public transportation companies, local authorities, Government bodies in France and in Europe as well as different consumer representatives and service providers. The main aim of the Forum is to encourage the development of synergies among the players, and provide the necessary foundations for rapid expansion in the area of contactless mobile services.
